Our seafood is processed in a clean, sanitary and modern facility. Products are processed by highly skilled, educated, and diligent staff. We pride ourselves with having very low staff turnover with majority of our workers being employed for over five years and some have been with the company since inception.
Processing of different types of seafood is done separately to prevent cross-contamination. Separation is done either by physical structure or by processing time. Once products are received they are inspected for wholesomeness which ensures that we start off with a good product. We only buy from known licensed fishermen who consistently provide us with quality products. This ensures that we supply our consumer with the best products free of adulteration.
Upon inspection of products, those that meet our specifications are accepted and transported to processing area. If rejected it is returned to the fisherman and documented.
Once delivered to processing area, our skilled knowledgeable and experienced staff start the process. Products are maintained iced throughout the process to reduce the possibility for bacterial growth. After processing the products are transferred to the packaging area. This is a restricted area and only persons involved in the packing process are allowed. Strict sanitation measures are taken to protect the product and packaging materials from contamination.
