What is the best way to thaw out my lobster?

  • Lobster Tails have to be thawed properly in order to preserve the flavor. Although they can be defrosted in the microwave in a pinch, the best way to thaw them is using cool air or water. Either leave the lobster in the refrigerator overnight or in the sink under cold running water. Just remember not to leave them sitting out thawed for too long.

Why does a lobster turn red when cooked?
